Importance of a web site to your business

Our Philosophy of Web Design

Quality First. The truth is that there is a lot of shoddy work out there on the web; in fact, most of it is shoddy. Making web sites is easy to do, but difficult to do well. Buying a web editing program doesn't make you a web designer any more than buying a wrench makes you a mechanic, yet there are many people who will try to make you believe it.

We don't use visual web page builder tools made for amateur webmasters. Tools that promise, “create professional websites with no knowledge of HTML” usually create piles of unnecessary, poor-quality code. These tools are not suited for professional work. Unfortunately, they have made it too easy for anyone with a computer to claim to be a web designer. Buyer beware! Ask questions. Look at their portfolio. Ask them to explain what makes their web sites quality sites.

We code by hand for our fully custom sites. Hand coding gives you the best quality in the smallest amount of code. Less code means faster loading pages — for which your customers will thank you!

One size does not fit all. Some projects require a fully-custom, hand-coded approach. For others, a Content Management System (CMS) or blog is the way to go. We also offer template-based web sites if your organization haa a tight budget or a short time constraint. If you have content writers who need to update their own pages, we can use a quality CMS or blog package.
